Opening Day of the Hardin County Farmers Market. Located at 200 Peterson Drive in Elizabethtown, the Hardin County Farmers Market is a producer only, Kentucky proud market featuring the best local food. This will be our 11th year as members of the farmers market and we can’t wait to share all the goodness with you throughout the season. For the month of April we will primarily have canned goods and will start introducing vegetable and herb plants toward the end of the month to help you start your own garden. In addition to all the wonderful vendors, the Hardin County Conservation District will be at the market to give away trees! The tree giveaway will begin at 9am and will last until they are all out of trees. Good idea to get there early and get your spot in line to get your favorite trees.
